How long does an equine massage take?

This is dependent on the condition being treated, the type of massage being performed, the tolerance level, age, if we are in gestation, size of the companion, etc.

Treatments typically last anywhere between 60 minutes - 75 minutes.

A reminder, you are paying for the service, not the time.

How long does a canine massage take?

This is dependent on the condition being treated, the tolerance level (amount of brain breaks needed), size, age, the type of massage being performed, etc.

Typically treatments last anywhere between 30 minutes - 60 minutes.

Do I come to you, or do you come to us?

We come to you! Whether it be at a barn for your equine companion, or your home for your canine friend, we believe your companion is most comfortable in their own space.

How do I prepare for an appointment?

You will be receive a Welcome Package via email upon booking your first appointment with all the information necessary!

What kind of clients do you take on?

We see a variety of clients, including, but not limited to;

Family / pleasure companions
Competition dogs (agility, rally, obedience, conformation, etc)
Competition horses (eventers, hunters, jumpers, reiners, barrel racers, standardbred racers, etc)
Pre/Post surgical cases
Companions with diagnosed medical conditions

What kinds of diagnosed conditions can you help with?

We can assist in the healing process / maintenance of over 64 diagnosed medical conditions. Conditions including, but certainly not limited to;

TMJ disorder

What age does my companion have to be before needing a treatment?

Any!

Age will help dictate how long the treatment may be, how many "brain breaks" the companion may need, what manipulations to use, what pressures to use, etc.

We have had many clients have us out for their foals or puppies to help accustom them to others assessing/touching them everywhere, which helps with veterinarian visits!

Where do you travel?

We have currently been travelling all over Ontario, Quebec, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island.

We frequent Barrie, ON and London, ON (and surrounding areas) very often!

We are happy to travel wherever there is enough interest. Travel fees may apply.

How long until I see results in my companion after treatment?

This is very case dependent.

Treatments are never a substitute for Veterinarian Care or advice.

It typically does take more than one single treatment to see longer term results.

Some benefits can be seen within 24-48 hours (potentially walking better, potential slight decrease in swelling, increased relaxation etc).

FUN FACTS ABOUT EMILIE

She was born in New Brunswick, lived in Quebec for 4-5 years, and grew up in the Barrie area.
Her first language is French.
She owns a dog and a cat. (Blue Berrymore & Henry)
She returned to instruct some courses in the EMT program at TriOS in 2021.
She was the Head Instructor at a Therapeutic Riding facility.
When she is not working, she is spending time with her pets, family, and friends.
